I wouldn't recommend using this. I tried and it deactivated my website. Deleted it immediately. No problem. The file hasn't been updated in forever so, no, it's unfortunately not useful any longer.

Thanks for your very interesting web site. I'm begineer in cURL and I have a challenge to connect from a php page to a web server by using a cookie. This sample is very interesting for my challenge. I have just a question about cookie. It is uses to store cookie sent by server or you use data of this cookie file to send datas to the server. In fact, this php page runs everything night to get datas from energy logger with a http connection protected by a authentication form.

@Chinekop ~ It's just a difference where one has a more inclusive regex. The reason is that while Google's robot may correctly interpret either, some robots from other search engines may need the other. Always go with Google!

Hello, thanks for this great explanation. On google's webmaster help area, they mentioned that if you want to disallow any url which has aword in it, you should add the line : Disallow: /*aword, but here you said it should be like Disallow: /*aword*, so my question is what is the difference between /*aword and /*aword*, thanks!
