Depends on the kind of load balancer.. Usually you can just change the FileETag to generate the ETags based on something the various nodes in the load-balancer will have that matches up...

So using:

FileETag Size

Would avoid different ETags being sent by different nodes.

Directive "php_admin_value open_base_dir /var/www/html/safephphost/whatever" doesn't work with php running as a fastcgi. What's the equivalent then? Sure, one can change "open_basedir" in php.ini and hide it from users but then, users are only allowed to change run-time php configuration options! Is this the only solution in this model?

For years I used :

A space, only to know that the previous command ended (as while the previous command is running, cursor is at column 0).

But today I use u@H$ cause I have > 20 servers, I need to know at least the hostname ^-^

Have you ever considered spending some serious time improving your tools? I mean, your tools are fantastic but also somewhat difficult to grasp due to lack of documentation.

Your content is excellent.. but it could certainly become one of the greatest in its niche with a little more effort.
