Directive "php_admin_value open_base_dir /var/www/html/safephphost/whatever" doesn't work with php running as a fastcgi. What's the equivalent then? Sure, one can change "open_basedir" in php.ini and hide it from users but then, users are only allowed to change run-time php configuration options! Is this the only solution in this model?

I am really enjoying the theme/design of your weblog. Do you ever run into any
web browser compatibility issues? A number of my blog readers have complained about my website not
operating correctly in Explorer but looks great in Chrome.

I think that's due to your terminal size is too small for the auto-height options... You can always type this from within vim to find out:

: helpg E36

Just save this file as ~/.vimrc and you are good to go. Don't forget the colorscheme. Let me know how it works, I haven't used extensively on FreeBSD.
