Search Engine Verify Plugin Updated
This plugin adds meta tags to your WordPress blogs that allow Google Webmaster Tools and Yahoo Site Explorer to verify that you own the site. This helps your blogs SEO and is a primary way to get your site indexed by both search engines. This is an update of the original here.
Here is a list of plugins that have been tested for compatibility with Version 2.5.

Hi, your plugin is very useful and I thank you to have created it.
However, I have a problem to use it, actually, when I want to update settings with META code, I have an error displayed which says :
Did not find the Google Authorization key!
I have a google API key but I don’t know if there are links between this API key and the “google authorization key” and how I can resolve the problem.
Thank you for the support
When I add the meta tag code in the Google Webmaster tag field, I receive the error message “Did not find the Google Authorization key!” I also wanted to ask do you still receive 15,000 unique visits every day?

I am not having any luck getting my wordpress site authorized by Google. I’ve followed directions. I’ve read up on what other people have tried. And still no verification from Google. What gives? If I am copying the metatag from google webmaster tools and pasting it into the AskApache Search Engine Verify and it results in “Did not find the Google Authorization Key!” – what next steps should I take?
Thanks!
