I've followed directions. I've read up on what other people have tried. And still no verification from Google. What gives? If I am copying the metatag from google webmaster tools and pasting it into the AskApache Search Engine Verify and it results in "Did not find the Google Authorization Key!" - what next steps should I take?

However, I have a problem to use it, actually, when I want to update settings with META code, I have an error displayed which says :

Did not find the Google Authorization key!

I have a google API key but I don't know if there are links between this API key and the "google authorization key" and how I can resolve the problem.
