Language/Country specific Google Search Engine's
October 3rd, 2007
Google's Servers automatically provide Internet users all over the world with a "localized" version of the incredible Google Search Engine that we know and love. It could be interesting to see how SEO works for your site in different languages.. Does your site even show up? Consider using a translation of your site in multiple languages, just like Google, using a WordPress plugin or an Apache Module.

It seems to be a more outlined representation of Google's Country Specific sites. I like

Country specific really is inferior. Plus I thought the whole point of Google is that the USER gets to choose what they want to search for and now. The old google.com has the features i am used to. Being forced into redirection to my country everytime I do a search is frustrating.
Plus it's insulting to me for a site to insist that I can't possibly know what I want. If I type it, I want it, no redirection please.

Hi bro..
Thanks for the list. I have been searching of the list. I got here. :-) -
countrywise google makes me feel cut out from the rest of the world. it might have its technical advantages. but the sentimental value has been snatched away. i loved google the old way.

I don't want a country specific Google page. I want the good old "google.com". The attraction of such sites is that all the world sees the same information. Besides: What if I live under a totalitarian regime? I would have to assume that they have cut a deal with Google and I would have to stop using it to feel safe.
this new google searching that forces me to look at results in the country I am browsing in IS BULLSHIT. I am currently visiting Indonesia and it is impossible for me to get factual data from THE REAL WORLD (NOT INDONESIA) from your search Engine. GOOD BYE GOOGLE you ar enow completely useless to me
